HAVANA TIMES — Without specifying a date, the popular musician X Alfonso announced to Prensa Latina that he will soon be performing at the third annual “Peace and Love” alternative music festival at the Salon Rosado de la Tropical (programmed for March 8-9).
The Cuban version of this event, born in Sweden in 1999, this year will bring groups from that European country and from Norway, as well national troubadour Santiago Feliu, DJ Ivan Lejardi and the hip-hop group Obsesion.
Alfonso hopes to extend this festival for a week, where music will be mixed with theater, dance, literature and visual arts.
The event emerged under the slogan “Courage, love and hope,” and Cuba was initially promoted by the independent “love in” project with a strong environmental and community message.
