Regional Conference on Family Medicine Starts Today in Cuba

HAVANA TIMES, March 13 — The Third Regional Congress on Family Medicine and the tenth International Primary Health Care Seminar open today at the Havana Convention Center.

The agenda includes topics such as the functioning of family support groups, home care at the end of people’s lives, domestic violence, sexual and reproductive health, aging and non-communicable diseases.

According to the Prensa Latina news agency, the sessions will be held through this Friday and will feature renowned experts from Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay, Bolivia, Paraguay, Colombia, Mexico and Cuba.
