Cuban Returning the Davis Cup Tennis

HAVANA TIMES — Cuban players are returning to the Davis Cup as part of the American Group III, scheduled to compete in June in Bolivia, national sports commissioner Juan Antonio Ramos told Prensa Latina.

National champion Randy Blanco, the leader of the current team, will be accompanied by William Dorante, number two in the country, along with Roberto Cruz, Ernesto Alfonso and Omar Hernandez. This latter is still a minor though he´s considered by experts to hold untapped potential.

As for the female team, it will be participating in the fifth season of the Bolivarian ALBA Games, planned for September in Ecuador.
