Russia-Cuba Boxing Exhibition Matches

HAVANA TIMES, March 2 — Exhibition matches between boxing teams from Russia and Cuba will be held in Moscow to restore the tradition of sporting exchanges between the two countries, reported the Prensa Latina news agency.

The Cuban team is made up Jorge Luis Condino (52 kg), Alexei Guibrat and Armando Martinez (56), Yohan Subel Moya (60), Keivid Brown (64), Osmay Bencomo (69), Angelo Morejon (75), Eduardo Dinza ( 81), Yuniel Perez (91) and Yohandris Toirac in the over 91 kilogram weight class.

The competition will be the prelude to a regional contest in the southern city of Anapa, on the Black Sea, and will contribute to preparations for the AIBI World Youth Boxing Championships slated for October in Thailand.
