Scant rainfall in the capital…

HAVANA TIMES – Over the past 24 hours, no significant rainfall was reported in Havana. Satellite images show high clouds moving over the western part of the country, while low cloud cover predominates over the capital. In the coming days, the influence of high-pressure systems will bring slightly humid air up to about 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) above the geographical area. Combined with daytime heating, this will stimulate isolated afternoon showers.

Under these conditions, mornings are forecast to be partly cloudy in northern coastal areas of the capital. In the afternoon, skies will be partly cloudy, with some areas experiencing isolated rain showers. Winds will primarily come from the north to northeast, with speeds between 15 and 30 kilometers per hour (9 to 19 mph). Relative humidity will range between 60% and 85%. Highs will be between 24 and 27ºC (75 and 81ºF), while lows from 17 to 21ºC (63 to 70ºF). Sea surface temperatures will be 26ºC (79ºF).
