By Circles Robinson
HAVANA TIMES, May 31 — The Second HT Photo Contest is down to the wire with 20 judges both in Cuba and abroad making the hard picks in each of the three categories (Rural Life, Cuban Daily Life (Urban) and Unusual Photos).
A total of 33 photographers took part in the contest and 22 have photos that made it to the finals.
The first two rounds of judging eliminated submissions from an average of 80 photos in each category.
For the final round of selection, the HT judges are picking a maximum of five photos from an average of 15 per category.
The prize winners and special mentions will be determined by the number of votes each picture obtains.
Today we bring you the photos that made it to the final round of selection. In the coming days we will announce the winners.
