Fate of Alan Gross Depends on Cuba
HAVANA TIMES, Feb. 9 – The U.S. government expects agent Alan Gross, under arrest in Cuba since December 2009, will be set free and will not negotiate his release with the Cuban authorities, State Department spokesman Philip Crowley affirmed.
The public prosecutor’s office in charge of the Gross case requested 20 years in prison for Acts Against the Independence or the Territorial Integrity of the State, reported IPS.
