FIART Arts & Crafts Fair in Pictures

HAVANA TIMES — Cuba’s annual International Arts and Crafts Fair (FIART) is open to the public at the Pabexpo fairgrounds in Havana through Sunday December 23rd. Besides the work by Cuban artisans also on display are the creations of their counterparts from 19 countries with emphasis on the nations that belong to the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of the Americas (ALBA).
FIART 2012 is dedicated to the artisans of Ciego de Avila province including the work of the Pauyet silversmiths which we featured in another report.
