Five Die in Accident in Central Cuba

HAVANA TIMES – A traffic accident in the town Quemado de Guines, in the central Cuban province of Villa Clara, caused the death of five people, three of them minors, reported the national media on Friday.

According to Prensa Latina, the incident occurred early Thursday when a truck carrying passengers overturned on the road because its driver lost control of the vehicle.

Seven other people, including two children, also received minor injuries, and is currently being treated at health facilities in the province.
