HAVANA TIMES, Dec 15 — Professor Olga Mayoi-Bracero, from the University of Puerto Rico, stated yesterday in Havana that Cuba and her country are interested and able to undertake joint research related to air quality and human health.
The instructor is part of the delegation of US scientists participating in a meeting this week at the Hotel Nacional sponsored by the Academy of Sciences of Cuba and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
According to Prensa Latina, Mayoi-Bracero expressed her hope that the meeting “serves to establish contact and collaborations that will allow progress with more coherent and coordinated work, integrating all Caribbean communities and creating an alert network in the Caribbean.”
