Biennial Murals in Santiago de Cuba
HAVANA TIMES, Jan 6 — The Tenth International Biennial of Mural Painting (“InterNos”) began yesterday as seven new murals added to the visual quality of the city of Santiago de Cuba, reported Prensa Latina.
Until January 27, creators there from 13 countries will share in intense creative activities, which began with the opening of the exhibition “Inner landscape,” by German artist Gerard Graus.
This artistic project, which started 20 years ago and is sponsored by the Office of the Curator of the City, has turned Santiago de Cuba into a mural city, with 104 of those pieces scattered across its urban landscape.
