Changes in US-Cuba Policy Cosmetic
HAVANA TIMES, June 26 – The US government “has not changed its Cuba policy,” there barely “have been some cosmetic measures that do not point to the lifting of the [half century] blockade against our country,” affirmed Carlos Miguel Pereira, Cuban ambassador to China, reported IPS.
While Cuban-Americans have been given the green light to visit their country of origin, the travel ban on normal US citizens remains in place. Likewise, funding continues from Washington for decades old programs to damage the Cuban economy.
