City in Motion Returns to Old Havana
HAVANA TIMES, April 5 — Wide participation by national and foreign artists is expected for the XVII Old Havana International Meeting of Dance in Urban Landscapes: City in Motion, to be held from April 18 to 22, reported the Cubarte website.
The event will bring together choreographers and dancers from 16 countries, mostly from Europe (particularly Spain and France), as well as performers from Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Chile, Uruguay and Ecuador.
In addition to street parades and works that are usually performed in the parks of Old Havana, the program will include lectures on dance, yoga and improvisation in addition to seminars led by outstanding figures of this art form worldwide.
