Cuba to Participate in World Cocktail Championships

HAVANA TIMES — The Cuban bartender Adrian Ravelo will participate in the Cocktail World Cup which will be held in the People’s Republic of China in October, said spokespeople for the Bartenders Association of Cuba (ACC) to the Prensa Latina news agency.

Ravelo, who works at the Havana restaurant El Emperor, will compete in the category of “Classical Style,” which he won last year at the Fabio Delgado Memorial Havana Club Cocktail Competition.

Havana ACC President Barbara Edel Vega said the presence of Cuba in this competition will help to highlight the growth of tourism on the island.
