Cuba Visited by Six Presidents
HAVANA TIMES, Sept. 28 – Cuba was visited over the weekend by the Presidents of Vietnam, Chipre and Palestine. Now, three African leaders, from Algeria, Mali and Zambia, are due to start their week on the Caribbean island.
Cuban President Raul Castro held talks with Vietnam’s Nguyen Minh Triet on Sunday and also decorated the visitor in the Palace of the Revolution. Chipre’s President Dimitris Christofiasesident is on his first official visit to the island and Palestine’s Mahmoud Abbas ended his three day visit on Sunday.
Scheduled to arrive in Havana on Monday are Algerian president Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Amadou Toumani Touré, president of Mali, and Rupiah Bwezani Banda the president of Zambia.
