Historic Strike in India Against Deregulation Continues

HAVANA TIMES – In India, over two dozen people have died since mass protests began last month against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s move to deregulate agricultural markets. Officials say around half of the deaths have been caused by the harsh winter. Tens of thousands of farmers are camping out in the cold on the outskirts of New Delhi.
