Hunger Striker Faces Possible Death
HAVANA TIMES, July 3 — Hunger striker Guillermo Fariñas, who demands the release of sick prisoners, could die from a blood clot on a neck vein, said Dr. Armando Caballero, the head of the Intensive Care ward of the Santa Clara Hospital where he has been for the last 110 days.
Caballero spoke to the official Granma newspaper on Fariñas status in a two page interview published on Saturday.
