Hunger Striker’s Health Worsens
HAVANA TIMES, June 29 — Cuban dissident Guillermo Fariñas’ health worsened after 125 days of a hunger strike due to an infection and the possible presence of a blood clog that could affect some vital organ, said Alicia Hernández, the dissident’s mother. Fariñas is demanding the release of some 20 sick political prisoners, reported IPS.
It was not made public what if anything Fariñas has received as food during the strike.
