Polito Ibañez to Perform in Miami

HAVANA TIMES, Feb 29 — Cuban singer Polito Ibáñez will give a concert at the Artime Theater in Miami at the end of next March, announced the Prensa Latina news agency.

The popular singer said he expects to appear on that stage with songs from his fourth album Sombras amarillas though he is presently immersed in working on his fifth album Ante tus ojos, which contains works by Cuban poets set to music.

Ibanez — who has performed with Omara Portuondo, Pablo Milanes, Silvio Rodriguez and Joaquin Sabina — also announced a tour of northern Mexico in mid-April.
