Guantanamo Kids Having Fun

HAVANA TIMES — The weekend is a headache for most Cuban parents. During those days we are concerned with what to do with our kids so that they can have some fun.

Finances are one of our biggest problems, for a wage of only 500 pesos (25 USD), which is the average on the island, is not enough for several days of entertainment, much less if you have two or three children.

But as our children are more creative than ourselves, while we rack our heads thinking about where we can take them or what to do, they have fun in countless ways without costing a dime (thank goodness).
