Havana Ballet Festival Opening Night

HAVANA TIMES — The 23rd Havana Ballet Festival opened on Sunday with the ballets “En la noche” and “La fille mal gardée” at the newly reopened National Theater of Cuba. HT was on hand to capture some of the moments.
The gala event included the presence of Prima Ballerina Assoluta, Alicia Alonso, 91, stars of the national and international ballet, Sadaise Arencibia, Anett Delgado and Viengsay Valdés as well as dancers from the different generations.
The festival continues in the Cuban capital through November 7th.
