Photo Feature by Elio Delgado Valdes
HAVANA TIMES — After decades of insufficient maintenance Havana’s landmark Capitolio building is now undergoing major repairs and is closed to the public. Nonetheless, the surroundings of the replica of the US Capitol building remain a traditional meeting place, often filled with tourists and Cubans going about their daily lives.
Besides people offering souvenirs, taxis or other goods or services, giant photos of the halls of the inside of the Capitolio building are assembled outside for visitors to appreciate.
