HAVANA TIMES, Oct. 22 – Former Industriales star Kendry Morales provided the winning run for the Los Angeles Angels over the New Yankees on Thursday night with a seventh inning two out RBI single off reliever Phil Hughes.
The win keeps the California team alive as they are now down 3-2 in the best-of-seven American League championship series.
The final score was 7-6 in a game that saw the Angels jump off to a 4-0 lead in the first but saw it erased with a two-out barrage in the top of the seventh when the Yankees scored six times.
Kendry (1B), who was having a poor series, also drove in a run in the first inning on a line drive single.
