Havana Weather for December 12-18
Some rain on the northern coast…
By Adrian Fuentes
HAVANA TIMES – A cold front moved over the westernmost provinces on Wednesday afternoon, bringing with it some showers and isolated thunderstorms. The frontal zone weakened as it passed through the west, extending its cloud band to the northern coast of that region. High-pressure systems behind this front are beginning to influence Havana, bringing northwest-to-north winds. The prevailing wind pattern favors the arrival of low clouds over the capital, with some rain expected along the northern coast.
In the coming days, cloudy mornings are expected in areas along the northern coast of the capital, with some showers and rain occurring in the morning, possibly extending into the afternoon in inland areas. Winds will be northeast to east at speeds between 10 and 25 kilometers per hour. Relative humidity will range between 40% and 60%. Highs will range from 24 to 28ºC (75 to 82°F), while lows from 18 to 22ºC (64 to 72°F). The sea surface temperature will be 26ºC (82°F).
