Havana Weather for December 5-11
Cold early mornings in the Cuban capital
By Adrian Fuentes
HAVANA TIMES – Over Cuba and adjacent seas, the influence of high-pressure systems of continental origin persists, with its center located in the northeastern portion of the Gulf of Mexico. This system imposes a very dry and stable air mass, which limits precipitation in most of the Cuban archipelago. However, the arrival of clouds from the sea toward northern areas of the capital has generated very isolated showers in these localities, with insignificant accumulations.
In the coming days, we will experience partly cloudy skies, with occasional cloudiness in northern coastal areas and sparse rain. Winds will be from the northeast to east, with speeds between 10 and 25 kilometers per hour. Relative humidity will range from 50% to 80%. Highs will range between 26 and 30ºC (79 and 86°F), while the lows between 18 and 20ºC (64 and 68°F). The sea surface temperature will be 26ºC (82°F).
