By Yanet Diaz
HAVANA TIMES – The days will begin with little cloudiness, and become more cloudy towards the end of the afternoon, with some isolated showers in some areas of the capital. The winds will be from the east and the northeast, with speeds lower than 25 km / h.
The days will continue to be very hot, with high temperatures between 32 and 33° C (90 F and 91 F) and lows ranging between 24 and 25° C (75 and 77 F). The sea surface temperature will be 30° C (86 F).
Meteorological conditions:
Hurricane Irma is located approximately 2400 km east of the Arc of the Lesser Antilles, moving west at a speed of 20 km / h. It has a minimum central pressure of 964 hPa and presents sustained maximum winds of 195 km / h, with gusts up to 240 km / h. During the next 24 hours it is estimated that it will continue this course, maintaining its speed and organization.
A tropical wave located in the eastern Atlantic is generating rains and disorganized storms. Conditions will remain favorable for tropical storm development, so it could become a tropical depression in the coming days as it moves west over the warm Atlantic.
The rest of the area has an anticyclonic influence, maintaining mostly good weather conditions.
