HAVANA TIMES – The hot days will continue during this 7-day forecast period with partly cloudy skies by the end of the morning and some scattered rains in the afternoons, especially towards the south of the capital. The variable winds will be weak, with speeds below 20 km/h.

The high temperatures will be 31 and 32° C (88 and 90 F), while the lows will be 24 and 25° C (75 and 77 F). The sea surface temperature will be 29° C (84 F).

Meteorological conditions

A large area of cloudy and disorganized storms associated with the remnants of tropical storm Beryl is located over much of the Bahamas and extends northwest over the western Atlantic. Towards the end of the week the conditions could be favorable for the development of this tropical wave while it moves towards the north. Some rain and occasional storms on the north coast of Cuba, favored by the presence of this system, will be probable during the coming hours.

On the North Atlantic, the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico, there is a 50% probability of tropical cyclone formation in the coming days.
