Flash Tornado Tears through Havana, Killing 3 and Injuring 172
HAVANA TIMES – A tornado ripped through the Cuban capital late Sunday, killing at least three people and injuring 172, President Miguel Diaz-Canel said, reportó dpa news.
The extent of the damage in Havana was unknown. Cuba’s Granma newspaper published photos of flooded streets and pavements strewn with debris.
On social media residents posted pictures of cars and buses flipped over and described widespread power outages.
Rescue teams have fanned out across the affected area, Diaz-Canel wrote on Twitter. He posted pictures of himself talking to first responders amid piles of rubble.
Flooding was also reported in the provinces of Pinar del Rio and Artemisa, west of Havana, and Mayabeque province, east of the capital, CNN reported.
I apologize for Trump/Rubio and the current state of our democracy. The U.S. should be helping Cuba. Sadly, you can expect only more evil from those who represent the Cuban Mafia in Miami and not the American people.
The Trump administration will not offer the Cuban government a cent in assistance or aid. Private organizations or churches may have assistance programs.
Yes this is the last thing for sure that the people of Havana needed at this time .
We all hope for a quick recovery and getting life back to as normal as possible.

I hope China Iran, North Corea, and Russia send Aid along with Nicaragua Mexico, Venezuela and Bolivia.
If every visiting cruise ship passenger gave $5 or $10 dollars that would be a good start.
I hope that the U.S. will offer aid and assistance in recovery from this devastating tornado. This was the last thing La Habana needed.
