Eta moves away from Cuba, but…

HAVANA TIMES – Finally Eta moved away from Cuban territory en route to Florida. However, one of its external bands is still affecting western Cuba and the Isle of Youth. With this, abundant clouds and intermittent rains that will still persist on Thursday. Meanwhile, a tropical wave transits over the Caribbean Sea south of Cuba. Moving west it has a high probability of developing into a tropical depression this weekend as it arrives in the western Caribbean. Therefore, careful attention must be paid to this system.
This week in Havana, isolated rains will continue until Friday, when days with partially cloudy skies will prevail until Monday. Due to the proximity of the tropical wave, a new deterioration of the weather conditions in the west and center is expected from Monday on. The winds will be variable and with speeds between 25 and 35 km/h with light waves in the afternoons. High humidity will continue, hovering around 90%. The high temperatures will be 28 and 29° C (81 and 84 F) and the lows between 23 and 25° C (73 and 77 F). The sea surface temperature will remain at 30° C (86 F).
In the North Atlantic, the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea the probability of the formation of a tropical depression will be high during the coming days.
