Cuba’s Dayron Robles Edges US Rival

HAVANA TIMES, Feb. 8 — Dayron Robles recorded the top 60-meter indoor hurdles time of the year on Saturday, 7.48 seconds in Stuttgart, Germany.

He needed every fraction to beat David Oliver of the USA who clocked 7.49. Jamaican Dwight Thomas ran third with a 7.64 time followed by Cuban Dayron Capetillo (7.68).

Robles holds the world and Olympic records for the 110-meter hurdles.
