Winter Until April in Cuba

HAVANA TIMES, March 5 – The current winter season in Cuba could last until April, forecasted Evelio Alberto García Valdés, specialist with the Weather Forecast Centre of the Institute of Meteorology.  According to the expert, in February the number of cold fronts doubled the average, which is of 3.38 fronts, reported IPS.

Nonetheless, winter in Cuba with temperatures in the 60s and 70s in the day and lows in the 50s and 60s are a far cry from the snow storms up north and are  thus the tourism high season on the island.
