Kuwait to Open Embassy in Havana

HAVANA TIMES, July 20 — Kuwaiti Prime Minister Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah is currently on an official visit to Cuba.  On Monday, he met with Cuban President Raul Castro to discuss cooperation projects between the two nations.

The leaders applauded the upcoming opening of a Kuwaiti embassy in Havana and also discussed topics on the international agenda including the current situation in the Middle East, reported the local Cuban press on Tuesday.

Former Cuban President Fidel Castro recently warned that the United States and Israel are plotting an attack on Iran that could lead to a devastating nuclear war.
