Cuba Disappointed with Obama policy

HAVANA TIMES, Sept. 30 – The Cuban government expressed its disappointment over the performance of U.S. President Barack Obama, who has not used his prerogatives to modify the policy toward the island, especially the economic blockade, according to a communiqué of the Cuban mission to the UN.

Obama promised during his campaign that he would ease the restrictions imposed by his predecessor, George W. Bush, but expressed his support for the embargo on the Caribbean island nation, reported IPS.
