Cuban FM Insists on End to EU Stance
HAVANA TIMES, Feb. 24 — Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez insisted on the need to eliminate the common position that governs the relations of the European Union (EU) with the island, noting it is the principal obstacle in the normalization of bilateral affairs. Rodríguez spoke in Brussels after a meeting with the Cuban official with Catherine Ashton, chief of European diplomacy, reported IPS.
