Water Crisis Serious in Havana
HAVANA TIMES, March 2 — In March there will be rains close to or below the historic average in Cuba, which could intensify the crisis in the distribution of water in the island’s capital, notes the Climate Center of the Institute of Meteorology. The lack of precipitation is due to the presence of the La Niña or Aenos phenomenon, which cools the surface water of the Equatorial Pacific Ocean, reported IPS.
