Cuba Baseball Finals Game Six Underway

HAVANA TIMES, May 2 — Game six of the Cuban championship baseball series is underway in Ciego de Avila with the home team down 3-2 in the best-of-seven series with Pinar del Río.  The score is 0-0 at the beginning of the second inning.

Each teams leading starter, Vladimir Garcia for Ciego de Avila and Yosvani Torres for Pinar, are facing off in the do-or-die game for Ciego.  The two hurlers have five playoff victories each.
