HAVANA TIMES, Oct. 12 — Cuba and Panama’s second round World Cup Baseball game on Wednesday was rained out.  They weren’t alone as the other three quarterfinal match ups were postponed for the same reason.

The International Baseball Federation (IBAF) said it will announce on Thursday the scheduling changes to make up the rained out games.

After Cuba’s big 8-7 win Tuesday over the defending champion USA the standings with three second round games remaining are as follows.

1) Cuba 4-0
2) Netherlands 3-1
3) Australia 2-2
4) Canada 2-2
5) Panama 2-2
6) Korea 1-3
7) Venezuela 1-3
8) USA 1-3

The top two teams will play for the title.
