Cuba Cancer & Diabetes Drugs Presented

HAVANA TIMES, Dec 9 — Cubans products to counter cancer and diabetes are being presented at the International Workshop on the Design and Conducting of Clinical Trials, which is concluding its sessions today at the Havana Convention Center.

Among the most sought-after drugs are CimaVax –EGF (used against lung cancer), Nimotuzumab (for the treatment of tumors), Heberprot (for diabetic foot ulcers), and streptokinase (for cases of heart attacks and pulmonary embolisms).

Cuban products are widely demanded, have an international reputation for the thoroughness and transparency of their clinical trials, and are proven to be effective in curing disease or improving the quality of life.
