Where can I buy one of those beautiful Cuban crocheted blouses?
Question: My friend has a beautiful crocheted blouse from Cuba… where would I find one?
Answer: In most of the artisan areas and throughout Habana Vieja (Old Havana) in private home/shops…. but also at the San Carlos de La Cabaña fortress, where there is usually an extra super selection! The sellers bring out their merchandise in the evening as Cubans and visitors show up for the nightly 9:00 pm cañonazo firing of the canon over Havana Bay.
this is more to the point. they should be exported. i got filipino crotcheted dresses imported into australia. the best way to start exporting handicrafts is to put a shop at the airports with advertising for tourists who want to be importers into their own country. the same goes for anything else for sale.
