HAVANA TIMES — A low pressure center located in the north-central Gulf of Mexico will be moving slowly to the south-southwest over the next few days.

This system has a medium to low probability of becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.

There is no expectation of a high probability of rain around the capital, only a few scattered showers in the afternoon caused by daytime heating.

Winds will be variable and weak, coming predominantly from the southeast, with speeds below 28 km/h (17 mph).

Maximum temperatures will be around 32°C (90°F), while minimum temperatures will be about 25°C (77°F).

The sea surface temperature will be approximately 29°C (84°F).
