Moscow Airlines Diversifying Destinations in Cuba
HAVANA TIMES — Starting this week, the Aeroflot Company and other Russian airlines will be able to fly into several cities in Cuba – not just Havana, reported the Prensa Latina news agency.
Under an agreement signed between the Russian Ministry of Transportation and the Civil Aeronautics Institute of Cuba, “The destinations of the respective airlines will be expanded,” said the agency.
Cuba has 12 international airports, several of them in tourist spots such as Varadero and Cayo Coco, which will benefit from visits such as those made by the 78,000 Russian tourists who came to the island in 2011.
