New FAO representative in Cuba
HAVANA TIMES – Achilles Curt Theodor Friedrich officially presented his credentials as the new representative of the United Nations Organization for Food and Agriculture (FAO) in Cuba.
According to Prensa Latina, the Cuban Foreign Vice Minister Abelardo Moreno received the FAO officer on Tuesday in Havana.
Friedrich previously visited Cuba to participate in the VII Congress of Agricultural Machinery and Mechanization AGROMEC 2001, and later as a technical officer of a project to mitigate the risk of food vulnerability in the Guantanamo-Guaso basin, to east of the island.
