‘Forum for World Equilibrium’ Starts Today in Havana

HAVANA TIMES — The Third International Conference for World Equilibrium began today (Monday) in the capital, attended by over 600 delegates from 43 countries.

The forum’s participants attended the eve of the traditional “March of the Torches,” in which students and gusts departed from the steps of the University of Havana and proceeded to the Jose Marti Forge to honor the national hero of Cuba on the 160th anniversary of his birth.

The conference aims to analyze contemporary world issues from the perspective of the thinking of Jose Marti, a concept that emerged and was carried out ten years ago on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Cuban independence.
