Cuban Actor Jorge Perugorría to Receive Award at Chicago Latino Film Fest

HAVANA TIMES — Cuban actor and director Jorge Perugorría will receive the Gloria Achievement Award on April 19^th during the 29^th edition of the Chicago Latino Film Festival, reported EFE.

The festival’s executive director, Pepe Vargas, said that Perugorría “can be considered a classic of Latin American and Spanish contemporary cinema.”

Perugorría will participate in a special celebration for the 20^th anniversary of the film “Strawberry and Chocolate”, he will also present one of his latest films as a director, “Amor crónico” (Cronic love).
