HAVANA TIMES — The famous Spanish guitarist Paco de Lucia gave a spectacular concert this week at the Karl Marx theater in Havana as part of V Leo Brouwer Chamber Music Festival.

Accompanied by his band, the brilliant guitarist delighted audiences for more than two hours. The concert also feature Seville flamenco dancer “Farruquito” and singers Antonio Flores and David Maldonado .

It was Paco de Lucia’s first concert in Cuba in 26 years.

The Chamber Music Festival will run until October 13 and will have 20 performances , which is including the one by Paco de Lucia, who was accompanied by Antonio Sanchez on guitar, Antonio Serrano on harmonica , Israel Suarez on percussion and Alain Pérez on bass.

In presenting the artist, maestro Leo Brouwer said that Paco de Lucia’s concert is an experience that will never be repeated  because he is always evolving.
