The Cuban-French group Terminal 2B performs in concert on Saturday, January 23, at 5 p.m., in the Centro Hispanoamericano de la Cultura (Prado and Malecon).

The group Phoenix will be presented in La Zorra y el Cuervo (No. 155 Calle 23, Vedado), on Monday, January 18 from 10:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.

The Verdadero Complot, an event dedicated to authors of Cuban youth songs, takes place on Saturday, January 16, at 5:00 pm. in the Centro Hispanoamericano de la Cultura (Praedo and Malecon). This is reopening a setting for trova musicians, where there is always a surprise guest. The Centro Pablo, a promoter of trova groups, is one of the collaborators.

On Saturday, January 16, the Leo Choir will be presented in the Basilica of the San Francisco de Assisi Convent. The lyric song will again take center stage in the Basilica, this time with the Leo Vocal Choir directed by Corina Campos. Their work is characterized by the interpretation of classic Cuban songs.

Remaining on display until Friday, January 15, is the first personal exhibition by Alberto Pujol, at the Guayasamin Gallery. Recognized as an actor and composer, now “Albertico” Pujol (as he’s known in Cuba) is delving into visual expression as a possible path to follow.

On Friday, January 15, will be inaugurated the photographic exhibition “Andar por America,” with works by Mexican artist Carlos Ugalde. The exhibition will be held in the Jose Marti Museum (Leonor Perez and Belgium Ave., Old Havana) at 3:00 p.m.

TheRuben Martinez Villena Public Library (Independence and 20 de mayo, in the Cerro neighborhood), will be the opening of the exhibition “Mujeres” (posters featuring women), under the guardianship of designer Pepe Menendez on Thursday January 14.
