Bellita and Her Jazztumbata

HAVANA TIMES, January 9 – Bellita and Her Jazztumbata will be presented at La Zorra y el Cuervo (No. 155 Calle 23, Vedado), on Saturday, January 16 from 10:00 p.m. until 2:00 in the morning.

Bellita is one of the women who have successfully explored Cuban jazz.  She is a pianist, composer and manager of the band composed of drums, tenor sax and flute.  The group also features Miguel Miranda, who masterfully plays the bass, congas and other Cuban percussion instruments.
