Documentary: How Israel’s Man-Made Famine Kills in Gaza

By Al Jazeera

HAVANA TIMES – Dr. Ahmed Hashem Abu Nasser is one of a handful of doctors in north Gaza treating scores of children for malnutrition. The odds of saving lives are against him as he does not have the resources he needs. Israel has cut off food, fuel and water, resulting in a man-made famine that is unprecedented in its scale and pace. Every Palestinian in Gaza is food insecure and dozens have died from dehydration and malnutrition.

Israel and its closest ally, the United States, deny that Israel is blocking humanitarian aid, which is a war crime. But we worked with Palestinian reporters in Gaza and used open-source data to investigate how Israel has killed civilians seeking aid and attacked humanitarian networks.

  • Many good people with young children have expired. It is a very bad situation
I am happy to see doctors from many countries there but they to get food and medicine and fuel in very large amounts to prevent these deadly things from happening

  • What a collection of nonsense, produced by Al Jazeera, an enemy of Israel. It reminded me of a documentary by an enemy of the US, Lauding the excelent and advanced healthcare system in place in Cuba. I have spent 2 years collectively in Cuba and many months is Israel, and I can assure you that both documentaries are pure fictional nonsense.

  • many thanks to all who contributed to the news story. I have a deeper understanding now. thank you
