Chavez Returns to Venezuela Next Week
HAVANA TIMES, 9 March —- President Hugo Chavez told Colombian president Juan Manuel Santos in Havana that he plans to return to Venezuela next week, noted Reuters.
“He said he would be a few more days (in Havana), but hopes to be back in Venezuela early next week,” said Santos.
Santos and Chavez met at the Cimeq Hospital in Havana on Wednesday, to give the “green light” to the annexes of the Free Trade Agreement signed by the two countries, noted the Colombian president.
Chavez had surgery Feb. 26 and now must undergo cycles of radiation therapy to “eliminate malignant cells”, and has not ruled out having to resort to an “adjunct”.
