HAVANA TIMES, Jan 19 — The eleventh Biennial visual arts festival in Havana will host an environmental sculpture that is atypical for the island’s art scene, reported the Prensa Latina news agency.
The work “Perspectiva,” created by artist Jorge Luis Santana, is in the shape of a submarine periscope, possessing a convex mirror located at the top and incorporating an electronic device with motion sensors to interact with the viewers.
The creation will be set up in a pubic area of ??the capital city during the Biennial, to be held from May 11 until June 11 in Havana.
